ron paul is the fucking people’s champ

Posted in news by ytcracker on December 17th, 2007

i am so sick of mainstream media totally downplaying the fact that this dude is a heavy hitter and he’s the most honest politician this country has seen in a long time. that dude just balled out like spalding yesterday and as of now i see a little text blurb on cnn.com and that’s about it.

i’ve donated about $400 to his campaign so far and really just the simple fact that he creates wonderful discourse among the people of this nation makes every dollar worth it.

i know most of my readers are probably ron paulites and already know about him, but seriously if you need to tell your family (my dad was like lol wot ron paul, and he’s probably the closest aligned candidate to anything he’s seen in years) and friends about what a ponce this dude is please do. i’m blasting that spamtec forever until i die for this man because i am surprised he hasn’t gotten assassinated yet for how radical he is.

regardless of his personal beliefs, he doesn’t kick you in the nis until you submit to his will. he defers to the constiution aka the p. nis of this country and says please holla at __ amendment for more info. lol usa. ps fuck hilary clinton fuck 9u11iani i like barack obama he seems nice enough

50 cent supports filesharing

Posted in news by ytcracker on December 9th, 2007

posted on my board by nore, this is quite awesome.

article here.

Pål asked 50 Cent: “How are G-Unit Records doing in these times of file-sharing?

“Not so good.” he responded. “The advances in technology impacts everyone, and we all must adapt. Most of all hip-hop, a style of music dependent upon a youthful audience. This market consists of individuals embracing innovations faster than the fans of classical and jazz music.”

“What is important for the music industry to understand is that this really doesn’t hurt the artists.”

“A young fan may be just as devout and dedicated no matter if he bought it or stole it.”

Indeed. It’s been said time and time again - get the music out there by any which way, fill the gigs and capitalize on the merchandising and ends will meet. 50 Cent agrees:

“The concerts are crowded and the industry must understand that they have to manage all the 360 degrees around an artist. They, (the industry), have to maximize their income from concerts and merchandise. It is the only way they can get their marketing money back.”

i don’t know how many of my readers have actually seen or read an interview with 50 cent, but the guy is a verifiable genius. his article in forbes magazine ranks among the all time favorite things i ever read. this can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em attitude is pretty much going to be the de facto standard whether people like it or not. also, p. nis.

The poker world erupted with shock and condolences this morning as news spread that three-time WSOP bracelet winner and legendary cash-game player David “Chip” Reese died early today, at the age of 56. His dominance in poker was so pronounced that in 1991 he was the youngest player ever inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame, an honor usually bestowed on those after a lifetime of achievement.

Pimp C, real name Chad Butler — and one half of the rap duo UGK, was found dead in a hotel room this morning. He was 33.

L.A. County Fire responded to a 911 call at the Mondrian Hotel, located on trendy Sunset Strip in Hollywood. They arrived to his sixth floor hotel room to find him dead in bed.

UGK is best known for appearing on the Jay-Z track “Big Pimpin’” in 2000, and more recently with Outkast on the song “International Player’s Anthem (I Choose You).” Pimp C had just performed with fellow rapper Too Short at the “House of Blues” in L.A. on Saturday night.

thanks for everything, including the hook to shineback.

you will be greatly missed.
