the episode begins with sidle finding a football player dead in a nightclub. sidle questions a few local people, including a father, a drunk husband, and an entrepreneur. finally the breakthrough comes when grissom finds some dna from a noose. sidle goes back to the group and finds it was actually a father the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines." and the episode fades to black.
