the episode begins with willows finding a debutant dead in a living room. willows questions a few local people, including a poker dealer, a systems analyst, and a sex fiend. finally the breakthrough comes when brass finds some dna from a footprint. willows goes back to the group and finds it was actually a poker dealer the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "He who laughs last thinks slowest." and the episode fades to black.
